<g>H</g> i there !
Back from holidays with a lil post about a PSP game that I'm currently playing ~ Final Fantasy 7 prequel : Crisis Core.

<g>I</g> t's such a pleasure to play Zack, you get to see what happened 7 years before the first FF7 (the one with Cloud as a hero, on Playstation) and he isn't introverted like the usual FF characters. You also meet old friends : Aerith, Cloud of course, Sephiroth, the Turks... and new characters such as Angeal, Cissnei or Genesis. What surprised me the most is that Sephiroth acts much more "humanly" than he does in the original FF7. You can see him laugh or making jokes ! Anyway, the good thing is you can't level up just by beating monsters, it's all up to your luck in getting three 7 on the jackpot wheels that turn constantly while you're fighting. As always, CG scenes are wonderful, especially at the end of the game. When you beat the game, you can start a new one and keep your stats and items. Since it takes about 25 hours to finish it, there are 300 optional missions to deepen your interactions with characters (making a flower cart for Aerith, training with Shinra soldiers...). If you're not afraid of spoilers, I recommend watching the ending scene on youtube explaining why Cloud acts just like Zack in the original FF7 (the theme song is "Why?" by Ayaka, singer of the Zettai Kareshi drama ending).

<g>B</g> elow is a fight scene between the 3 SOLDIER 1st class, Sephiroth, Angeal & Genesis, and the beach scene where you can experience umbrella fighting XD I just love these GMVs !

<lj-embed id="3" />
<lj-embed id="4" />

Here is the summary of the second "revival" chapter... so sad :(

[When the doors to the "heart" open, the Hikari family will be free from its chains...]

Hiwatari seems to be exhausted from his little walk with Daisuke towards the top of the tower. He mutters some weird numbers... which are in fact the deactivation code for the next trap. The whole place can crumble down anytime if they get the combination wrong. They must be careful not to step on places lit by the moonlight because it would cause "the guardian" to appear.

Daisuke and Satoshi reach to a wide room decorated with statues. Once again, they mustn't step on the light so Daisuke has to jump from statue to statue to get to the door leading upstairs. Unfortunately, though he kept in the shadows during the process, the guardian suddenly appears.

Argentine is now aware that someone has entered the tower. While Daisuke rushes to the door to turn the doorknob twice (it's another trap), Krad suddenly appears to destroy the guardian. He then engages in a fight with Daisuke and talks about the irony of meeting him here... but Hiwatari stops him and regains control of his body. Daisuke notices how Hiwatari suffers because of Krad's wings and remembers when Hiwatari told him not to spread his own wings (and how Daisuke felt the same pain).

Both are exhausted, they take a short break. Daisuke asks Hiwatari why he is cooperating with him. "D: Is it because we are friends ? H: Yes... D (with a happy look on his face): So... H: If only it was only down to this... [...] I came to destroy Argentine, he is a monster just like Dark and Krad." Satoshi explains that Argentine has been put to sleep by his ancestors but he "resonated" with something and woke up. Since he isn't fully awaken yet, Satoshi must hurry and destroy him. Daisuke then tells him about how he wouldn't have made it without Hiwatari, that he always relies on Dark but that this time he is going to save Risa by himself.

Hiwatari : "I've always felt... it would be best not to get close to anyone. That if I were to care about someone, I would be afraid of losing this person. [...] What we gain, we lose it the next moment. It is just a matter of time. But... there is already no time left for me to think about this. [...] My family is short-lived. My mother died at a young age. I probably... won't live much longer."

Daisuke is shocked at this confession, he can't believe it and keeps repeating "it's a lie !"...

What will Daisuke do now that he knows about the destiny of the Hikari family ?

There is another chapter next month, yay ^_^

Hi guys ! Since I already translated the whole chapter into French, I thought I might as well make a summary in English for you non-French speakers ^_^

Hiwatari knows where Argentine is and offers to team up with Daisuke to find him and save Risa. At first Daisuke fears it might only be because Hiwatari wants to use Dark to get to Argentine, but he finally agrees to cooperate for the sake of their friendship. Of course, Niwa papa & mama can't understand this foolish act but are somewhat convinced when Daisuke tells them that since Hiwatari is a true Hikari, he's probably the one who knows Argentine best. Dark is angry.

Then the scene skips to Riku thinking about her sister. She says that they have already been separated once during their childhood. Her mother notices how strong the bond is between her two twin daughters.

Kousuke is reflecting on the relationship between Dark, his Niwa "hosts" and their lovers : "Until now, Dark and the Niwa boys have never felt the same way about a girl. Loving the same person, or two different persons, it's difficult for them to share the same feelings. I feel that Dark is changing little by little. [...] Dark cannot live at the same pace as humans. That's why he has always kept from being loved by anyone, no matter what. Love... He can love someone as long as he doesn't know about the other's feelings. But being loved... No matter what he does, he cannot accept this feeling. Because he probably noticed that accepting it needed true courage."

Meanwhile, Risa wakes up in a different dress again ! She starts screaming at Argentine... He says that he would often hear screams while his master was destroying unwanted works of art. Once again, he asks Risa how to become the "Black Wings". Although he is a failure as a work of art, he can still feel pain and suffering and starts emitting a strange light. Then... tears roll down his cheeks (it is also part of the "reaction"). Argentine tells Risa that Dark (Black Wings) has changed a lot (he used to be alone, fighting against another "wing"). Then he claims that Risa is "the heart".

Back to school, Saehara is giving off newspapers about Dark and his young girls kidnappings. He tries to get Daisuke to help him, but Dai-chan runs away saying he suddenly caught a cold ^_^
Saehara meets up with his father and they talk about how this last case doesn't seem to be Dark's wrongdoing.

Daisuke goes to Riku's house and watches her from afar [as Dark]. Unfortunately Riku spots him and orders him to bring her to where Risa is. Not knowing what to do, Daisuke gives her that cool Dark attitude : "Don't worry, I'll wait for you to grow up a bit..." and leaves. XD

Wondering why Argentine wants to become Dark, Risa notices a similarity between them, "like two brothers who don't resemble each other". Argentine takes her to a room deep in the basement, where a strange girl is floating in the air, asleep. Argentine's "transparent shadow"... her name is Kuolia.

Hiwatari and Daisuke finally come to the place where Argentine is. It is an old bridge with a tower in the middle (there used to be 3 towers, by the way...). Risa is at the top of the central tower. There are 3 accesses to it : an underground tunnel deep under the river, the river itself (swimming, but the current is too strong) and an old pathway that used to connect the 3 towers. They decide to go by the underground tunnel.

Flashback on a scene where Hiwatari's father is talking to him : "you'd better destroy that work of art yourself. You know how, right ?".

The moment Daisuke enters the old tower, feathers are spread as if Dark felt something (nostalgia according to Daisuke).

Argentine tells Risa he was held prisoner here because he was a "failure". He has been alone for so long that he "brought Kuolia back", he gave a new life to Kuolia using his master's technique but was unable to give her a heart (since he doesn't have one either).

There are many traps in the tower. Hiwatari teaches Daisuke how to dismantle them and they work their way through. Hiwatari must absolutely find a solution to that Argentine problem "before it's too late"...

Argentine feels a strange bond between Kuolia and himself. If he had a heart, he would be able to give her one as well.

The pathway crumbles down, Daisuke and Hiwatari fall in the river !

Risa tells Argentine that in fact he is "in love" with Kuolia since he wants to do something for her, to protect her. Argentine is convinced Risa has a lot to teach him, like how to understand his power.

Daisuke manages to save Hiwatari but passes out when still in the water. And there goes Hiwatari with his CPR ! Dark hopefully wakes up before the "kiss" and warns Satoshi about how Daisuke would have drowned if Dark hadn't awaken. Then he lets Daisuke regain control of his body. Poor Satoshi lost his glasses in the water >_< He tells Daisuke that he knows every step in the process of creating Hikari works of art, how Argentine is special because he does have feelings like Dark and Krad.
The chapter ends as the two of them decide to go by the pathway leading to the top of the tower.

I'll post a resume of the latest chapter soon (Asuka 5/2008).

You scored as Fai
You’re kinda like Fai from Tsubasa! Flamboyant, charismatic maybe a little bit tricky, you don't like letting anyone get too close to you, but you have no problem playing around and having a good time. Generally, your intentions are good – or so you’d like everyone to believe, but it’s quite possible that you have a darker side to you that you have become extremely good at hiding.

Just remember that there are people around you that love you. More than you even know…

Fai

75%

Yuuko

75%

Kero-chan

71%

Watanuki

71%

Chii

63%

Seishirou

63%

Kurogane

58%

Miyuki-chan

58%

Hokuto

50%

Kamui

46%

Sakura

38%

Hisaya Nakajo's website

English version :

Today is New Year's Eve, and I bring you the translation of Hisaya Nakajo's diary for December 31st. Her website link : WildVanilla.com

2006 is already coming to an end ~. Some days ago we finished our last chapter of ShuPuri (Sugar Princess), we were relieved for a while. Thanks to all the readers ~. (some thoughts on this year's Grand Prix...) ~. I can't wait for March 2007 World Championship ! Thanks to world broadcasting, the popularity of the players increased a lot. However, I'd like to see more figure skating on TV in Japan, since there are very good japanese and foreign skaters~. Their jumps are wonderful. Although jumps are important, steps are the most important part of a program. The public, who knows nothing about figure skating, must not feel bored by repetitive steps ~. Hopefully, skaters improve their levels thanks to fans support ~! I've done an interesting work recently, I'll tell you more about it when I get the authorization. In 2007, you'll get to see more of HanaKimi thanks to the taiwanese drama that's being broadcasted. Thanks for your support this year ~★ Enjoy next year too !

Well I know I'm late and didn't post here for a while... but I'm still making avatars and signatures when I have time. I am quite busy at the moment because of my team and work for DivisionXIII (a great french scanlations team), my drawings for the school's TV Club, homework and my sister's website. Plus all my blogs that still need updates... A new feature ! From now on, my posts will be in both English and French so that non-French speakers can understand my ramblings.
